You will stay in a simple, student-style bedroom. Rooms are designed for studying and resting, and typically include:
A single bed
Ensuite bathroom
Wardrobe or storage space for clothes
Desk and chair for studying
Shelving or storage for personal items
There are shared social areas in the building, and laundry facilities are available on site. Wi-Fi is available so that you can stay in touch with friends and family.
Seething Wells Residence and the nearby Penrhyn Road campus together provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including:

Laundry facilities at the residence (card or app payment)
Bedding and towels are provided. We clean the bedrooms, and bedding and towels are changed once a week.

A large canteen at Penrhyn Road Campus that can serve up to 150 students at mealtimes
Being close to Kingston town centre, you are also within reach of shops, cafés, supermarkets, pharmacies and other everyday services.
Seething Well's Residence is available from 11 July to 15 August 2026.
Your lessons may be at King's College (13th - 31st July) or at the CES Wimbledon main school at Nelson House, and you may stay in Seething Wells Residence in Kingston.
Seething Wells Residence is used by university students during the year, so it has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while you study with CES London in the summer.
It offers a welcoming, student-focused environment with good facilities on-site and simple connections to both the Penrhyn Road campus, where you have your meals, and King's College, where you have your lessons.
We also strongly recommend downloading the TfL Go app or using TfL Journey Planner to check live bus and train times.
To do your laundry at Seething Wells, you’ll need to download the Circuit Laundry app. The app accepts payments from most international debit and credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard.

If you cause any damage to your room, the residence, or any property belonging to CES or the university, you will be expected to pay for the damage before you leave.
Please treat all rooms, furniture and equipment with care, and respect the shared spaces and the other students who are using them.
Always keep your room locked when you are not in it.
Keep money and valuables in a locked suitcase or a safe place.
Remember that in the UK, debit and credit cards are used for almost all purchases. You do not need to bring large amounts of cash.
If you are worried about money, cards or valuables being lost or stolen, tell your Group Leader or CES staff straight away.
We expect all students to be back in their flats by 22:00 (10pm).
There is a check-in system in place to make sure everyone is safe and accounted for.
Students who break curfew or ignore staff instructions may face disciplinary action, and Group Leaders and parents may be informed.
Curfew rules are there to keep you safe. If you are ever delayed or have a problem, contact your Group Leader or CES staff immediately.
All meals are served at Penrhyn Road Campus, which is situated near Kingston town centre.
It is around 20 minutes’ walk or 5 minutes by bus from Seething Wells Residence.
Breakfast is from 07.30 and is served at Penrhyn Road
Packed lunch is collected at breakfast
Dinner is from 18.00 and served at Penrhyn Road canteen
Seething Wells Residence is located in Kingston, in south-west London, close to the River Thames and within easy reach of Kingston town centre. Penrhyn Road Campus, where you will eat and take a shuttle bus to Kings College or Nelson House every morning is near Kingston town centre and about 20 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by bus from Seething Residence.
Public transport in London is widely used by young people and is generally safe, regular and well organised.

You will travel between Seething Wells and Penrhyn Road with your Group Leaders, especially at the start of your stay, until you are familiar with the route.
Lessons take place at:
King’s College School, Wimbledon Village (normally 13th - 31st July)
CES Wimbledon Nelson House (normally June, early July and August)
From Penrhyn Road Campus, a shuttle bus will take you to the lesson locations each morning.
The coach journey from Penrhyn Road to lesson locations is usually around 20 minutes.
You will normally travel together as a group, accompanied by your Group Leaders and/or CES staff.
You will use public transport to return to Penrhyn Road Campus for dinner.
If you ever miss the coach or are unsure how to travel, please speak to your Group Leader or CES staff immediately. They will help you find the best and safest option using public transport if needed.
